Kidney or Liver Cleanse?

My partner has recently informed me he has a drug problem. I am going to be working with him to get his life back on track, starting with turning his health around. He has been doing MDMA, Ketamine, LSD, smoking marijuana, and drinking.

While we are focusing on alternative activities for him to be a part of, I also think a physical cleanse of some sort would be wise, to flush his body of these chemicals and toxins.

What would be best? What area of the body should we focus on first?Kidney or Liver Cleanse?
I'm no expert, but since nobody's given any advice yet...

The liver is a huge deal in the body. It detoxes the blood, synthesizes sugars, and other stuff.

Most sources say that cleanses don't really help a normal, healthy individual, because your organs can take care of themselves quite well. Maybe a recovering drug user could benefit from them, especially the liver. Just be sure you get a cleanse that won't do more harm than good. I'd avoid the extremes.

In my medicinal plants class we learned that lemon juice cleans the kidneys quite well... and you don't need that much. Maybe five drops.

Also, if you're into natural medicines, there's a scientist who compiled an online database of all the biologically active compounds in a ton of plants. It's called Duke's Phytochemical Database. You can search for a specific plant or an activity. These are all research-supported data, although not necessarily proven.
